About Us

The 204th Scout Group was formed in 1959 and serves the areas of Drumchapel Blairdardie and Knightswood and Yoker.

Everyone is welcome to join us no matter what your background

Our Group provides a range of indoor and outdoor activities to suit a range of ages.
Scouting actively engages and supports young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society.

We have 4 sections running on our Group:

  • Beavers (6 – 8 Yrs): Mon 6:30pm –7:30pm
  • Cubs (8 – 10½ Yrs): Mon 7:30pm – 8:45pm
  • Scouts (10½ – 14 Yrs): Wed 7:00pm – 9:00pm
  • Explorers (14 – 18 Yrs): Tue 7:45pm – 9:30pm (run fortnightly)

We are an extremely popular group and our numbers are constantly increasing so if you have a young child interested in joining, we encourage you to register early to ensure they get a place.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
